Event Information
Amazing Race Port Perry is based on the CTV reality show, The Amazing Race, with various challenges, detours, roadblocks, and pit stops on September 14, 2024. It’s a fun team based event for friends, colleagues or families, where teams of four travel by foot throughout downtown Port Perry competing against each other & the clock, completing various challenges, some mental and some physical in order to receive clues for the next location.
Teams consists of four people with the registration fee being $75.00 per person. PRICE INCREASES TO $100.00 PER PERSON AUGUST 15, 2024!
All funds raised support Oak Ridges Hospice.

The Cause
Oak Ridges Hospice is a community-based hospice organization that provides compassionate care and support out of the Morgan & Sidhu House, located in Port Perry, Ontario. Our hospice residence serves every community in the Regional Municipality of Durham and is currently the only hospice residence in the region.
For those living with a life-limiting illness, or providing care for a loved one as they near end-of-life, our hospice offers a much-needed alternative to institutional care facilities and home care. Oak Ridges Hospice is a tranquil, home-like residence where a dedicated team of specially trained medical, nursing, support staff and volunteers provide compassionate care and comfort, at no cost to the resident or their loved ones

TRAVELLING GNOME SPONSOR (limited to one (1) sponsor)
$3,000.00 sponsorship
The Travelling Gnome is a race prop that teams are required to carry for a predetermined duration of the race. The Travelling Gnome sponsor will receive the following recognition:
- Exclusive Travelling Gnome sponsorship
- Amazing Race Port Perry will coordinate with the sponsor to determine which prop they prefer to use. For example, the prop may resemble the sponsor’s mascot
- Sponsor’s logo on the determined prop
- One (1) sign with the sponsor’s logo, positioned at the Pit Stop or Finish Line where props are scheduled to be checked in by teams
- Sponsor’s logo on applicable clue cards
- Sponsor’s name, logo and link to their website or social media pages will be included on the Amazing Race Port Perry’s social media posts

EVENT SPONSOR
As an event sponsor, the sponsor has the opportunity to propose their own corporate sponsorship arrangement with Amazing Race Port Perry. All proposals for sponsorship are welcome and will be reviewed. Ideas of how sponsors can support the Amazing Race Port Perry are endless, some suggestions include:

- Hosting a challenge at your place of business
- Allowing the placement of a clue box at your place of business
- Donating prizes for contestants

Volunteers
More than 40 volunteers are needed on the day of the event ( September 14, 2024) to help organize the activities & challenges for the race participants.
Volunteer shift times are 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older, or accompanied by an adult, and have their own transportation to and from the event locations.
